Description

FSUN^TM Low specific surface area fumed silica is a specially designed white-color process modifier consisting of spherical, nano, submicron particles of amorphous silicon dioxide. The nature of the product allows excellent dispersion of these particles in the elastomer matrix. This leads to improved dispersion of all compound ingredients and a better flow, allowing higher extrusion speeds,better compression set, better resilience and smoother surface of the end product. 

Application

It is mainly used as a dispersant, anti-fatigue agent and flame retardant synergist for a variety of rubber.
Used in CPE, NBR, FKM, CPE, EVA, HTV,RTV,EVA,ACM,AEM,HNBR,EPDM and other rubbers, can significantly reduce the viscosity of Mooney, reduce the mixing time, promote the dispersion of each filler, improve the appearance and mechanical properties of the product, especially improve dynamic fatigue, compression change performance; It can be combined with flame retardants (magnesium hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, hypophosphite, polyphosphate, etc.) to show a strong flame retardant synergy; It can also replace 1/3-1/2 of antimony trioxide to reduce costs.

Suitable for flame retardant roofing coils, cables and conveyor belts;

Suitable for fatigue and anti-vibration components such as: engine mounts, shock absorbing pads, power conveyors and bushings;

Suitable for tires, hoses, sealing systems and profiles.
